3M® 969 Adhesive Transfer Tape
This tape is the reverse wound version of the well known 950 transfer tape. It is designed to be used in this form with the 3M® ATG tape dispenser. The adhesive is a thick modified acrylic and has a balanced construction of very high initial tack compared to other ATG tapes. Good shear holding power to a wide variety of materials including most plastics, with a bond which will increase in time. Using the ATG dispenser the product is suitable for bonding metal, wood, paper and many plastics. Suitable for splicing of foils, films and fabrics, laminating adhesive for foams, photos, attaching metal or plastic nameplates, core starting and miscellaneous joining and holding where high initial adhesion is required and other products have not been satisfactory.
